Well, I guess its time to open this blog. I've hesitated to do so since it implies (and is worthy) of a comitment in time and energy (which are often lacking).
However, what else is there to do but dive in....
I' ve been listening to John Dean (of Watergate infamy) on C-SPAN2. He has a very interesting take on the problems in America's polity and the proliferation, and concentration, of "Authoritarian" Personalities within the Republican Party (as opposed to the Democratic).
His new book "Conservatives without Conscience" is probably worthwhile reading.
